Case Study: Everson Branch Library

The Everson Branch of the Whatcom County Library System (WCLS) participated in a project funded by the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation to explore the importance and opportunity of transforming library spaces to meet community needs. Everson is a small community of about 3,000 residents located in Whatcom County, Washington, 15 miles northeast of Bellingham on the banks of the Nooksack River in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. The library has a collection of 25,500 items and a staff of 12 plus two adjuncts.
